what is this blog about?

My life took a sudden sharp turn, and all my carefully made plans evaporated when my family life and my professional life collided. Mom has dementia. She needs help and I have taken her into my home, becoming her caregiver. I am also a Unitarian Universalist minister. I believe that ministry is not just what you do, it is who you are.
My faith remains strong. Now, my vision is muddled. This is a chronicle of my efforts to figure things out. I will go where you lead me, but ... I don't quite understand where that could be and I keep bumping into things.
